Terms of service

Last updated: 13 October 2026

Working draft — to be reviewed by the legal team.

These terms set the rules for using InTurn, the platform that connects interns, companies and universities to find and run internships. By creating an account or accepting an invitation, you agree to them. Please read them together with our privacy policy.

What InTurn is

InTurn is an online platform for internships, operated by InTurn (“we”). Companies publish internship offers and run their internships: projects, tasks, supervision, documents and evaluations. Interns find offers, apply, publish a listing and follow their internships. Universities confirm who their students are and follow their internships. InTurn's platform staff verify organisations and keep the platform safe.

“You” means any person who uses InTurn, whether as an intern, for a company, for a university or as platform staff.

Your account

  • There are four kinds of accounts: intern, company, university and platform staff. Interns and the person who registers a company sign up themselves. Each university and its super admin are set up by InTurn. The other company and university accounts are invited by their organisation, and platform staff by InTurn.
  • To create an account, you must accept these terms and the privacy policy. Receiving marketing e-mails is optional.
  • Give accurate information about yourself and keep it up to date. One account per person: do not share it, and do not create one for somebody else.
  • Keep your password secret. For extra protection, you can turn on a sign-in code sent to your e-mail address. You are responsible for what is done with your account: if you think someone else has used it, change your password and tell us at contact@inturn-hub.com.

Company and university accounts

The person who registers a company confirms that they are allowed to act for it. That person becomes the company's super admin on InTurn and is responsible for the people the company invites, and for the roles and access it gives them.

A company can publish offers only after InTurn's staff have verified it. Verification checks that the company appears to be genuine; it does not guarantee how the company behaves or the quality of its internships.

Universities are set up by InTurn. A university confirms which interns are its students, and the “Verified student” badge on a profile shows that confirmation.

An organisation sees the applications and internships that concern it, as well as what the Marketplace shows to every organisation. It uses the data it sees on InTurn only to run its own offers and internships.

Acceptable use

Use InTurn for what it is for — finding, running and following internships — and treat the people you meet there with respect. In particular, you must not:

  • publish false or misleading offers, profiles, listings or documents, or pretend to be someone else;
  • publish offers or content that discriminate against people, or that are illegal;
  • harass, threaten or insult other users, or send them unsolicited messages;
  • post content that infringes other people's rights, such as their privacy, their image or their intellectual property;
  • copy other users' data to use it outside InTurn, for example to build a mailing list;
  • try to reach accounts or data you are not allowed to see, test the platform's security without our written permission, or disrupt the service, including with automated scraping or a flood of requests;
  • ask an intern to pay to apply or to be taken on.

Platform staff can unpublish an offer or a listing that breaks these rules.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you put on InTurn: your profile, CV, offers, listings, messages, comments, deliverables, documents and the rest.

You give InTurn a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, copy and display that content, only as needed to run the platform and to show it to the people it is meant for. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for content that stays in place after an account is deleted so that other people's records remain complete (see the privacy policy).

You confirm that you have the right to share what you post. Who owns the work produced during an internship is decided between the intern, the company and, where relevant, the university — not by InTurn.

The InTurn platform itself — its software, name, logo and design — belongs to InTurn.

Internships are agreements between their parties

An internship is an agreement between the intern, the company and, where relevant, the university. InTurn is not a party to that agreement and is not the employer of the intern or of anyone else.

The parties decide the terms of the internship — dates, tasks, supervision, any allowance, insurance and the legal requirements that apply — and are responsible for respecting them.

The agreements generated on InTurn start from templates provided to help you; check that they suit your situation. Acknowledging a document in the app records your agreement, with an audit trail; it is not a qualified electronic signature. Your university or an adviser can tell you whether another signature is required.

Evaluations express the opinion of the supervisors who wrote them, and experience records summarise what was recorded on InTurn. InTurn does not guarantee their content.

No guarantee of placement

InTurn helps interns and organisations find each other and work together. We do not guarantee that an intern will find an internship, that a company will find an intern, or that an application will be answered: decisions on applications belong to the companies alone.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using InTurn and delete your account at any time from your account page. Deletion is refused in a few cases where it would harm other people's work — for example while you are the intern on an internship that is pending or in progress. The privacy policy lists these cases.

If you break these terms, or to protect other users or the platform, InTurn may remove your content, suspend your account or close it. When we can, we tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

A suspended account cannot sign in, but you keep your rights over your data: write to us at contact@inturn-hub.com.

The service

We work to keep InTurn available and secure, and we keep improving it, which can mean changing or removing features. The service can be interrupted for maintenance or because of events outside our control.

InTurn is provided as it is, without any guarantee other than those the law requires.

Liability

InTurn is responsible for running the platform with reasonable care. We are not responsible for what users publish or do, for the internships agreed between the parties, or for any loss caused by a use of InTurn that breaks these terms.

As far as the law allows, InTurn is not liable for indirect losses, such as a missed opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud or gross negligence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add a feature or when the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. If a change is important, we will tell you in the app or by e-mail before it applies. If you do not accept the new terms, you can close your account; if you keep using InTurn, you accept them.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Tunisian law.

If you have a complaint, write to us first at contact@inturn-hub.com: most problems are solved that way. If no agreement is found, the dispute will be brought before the competent Tunisian courts, unless the law gives you the right to go to another court — for example as a consumer living in the European Union.
